The Journey of Ministry
Pastor Bien's ministry began with a foundational year at Ebenezer Bible College in Zamboanga. This led to a significant season of student discipleship with The Navigators at the University of the Philippines (1964-1971).

- 1996–2014: First Southern Baptist Church, Pasadena, California
He is the author of the Newlife Series for Evangelism, Discipleship & Missions (Books 1-14), which has been recently revised and expanded for 2026 to reach a new generation of believers.
Family & Legacy
Pastor Bien and Lolita Garcia were married in 1973, sharing 46 years of love and ministry until Lolita’s passing in 2019. Together, they raised three sons: Keryx, Kairos, and Kratos.
Though he retired from the formal pastorate in 2014, Pastor Bien remains active in his calling—writing Bible studies, devotionals, and sermons to be shared freely with the world.
